Initial Yarn Ornament2

I made these ornaments as a Christmas gift for my sister.  The "M" and "R" on the ornaments are the initials of her two children.

These ornaments are unique and handmade with great love and my sister absolutely loved them as soon as she saw them.

What do you think? This ornament art is a wonderful Christmas gift idea so start making your own now.

Materials:

  • glass ornament
  • hot glue
  • yarn
  • tulle
  • ribbon
  • sparkle glue

Instructions:

1. Get that hot glue gun heated up and ready to go. When the glue is hot lift the little ornament holder off the top of the ornament and glue around the top of the ornament. Then put the holder down and make sure it is stuck fast. I do this because I really don't like it when the holder comes off and the ornament falls and smashes on the ground.

2. Starting at the top of the ornament (right at the top of the ornament holder) put a little line of glue and cover it with yarn. Glue and wrap all the way around the entire ornament.

3. Write the initial on the ornament with the sparkle glue.

4. When the glue is dry, glue a piece of ribbon or tulle around the very top of the ornament. And then glue a little bow to it if you like.

That's all there is to it. It's quite easy to make striking, one of a kind ornaments.

Use your imagination, creativity, and sense of style to create your very own unique initial ornament.
